Overview

Knitting Factory Entertainment is looking for a highly driven and enthusiastic candidate to fill the Concert Promotion Intern position for Summer of 2024. This position will require part time hours for academic credit, officing approximately 3 days a week in the Boise, Idaho office. The ideal candidate should be excited to break into the concert industry and be highly passionate about learning the operations of the live music world.

Responsibilities

● Assist talent buyers in execution of contracts and deposit tracking with accounting.

● Submitting wire receipts to agencies and verifying band payments to their accounting departments.

● Assisting the marketing department in building social media advertising campaigns as assigned. Attend weekly marketing meetings.

● Making suggestions and workshopping creative ideas to help Knitting Factory be more involved in the community.

● Attend shows around the area and provide feedback.

● Make suggestions on local opening acts for headliners.

● Greet office guests.

Qualifications

● Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe.

● Works well in fast paced, high stress situations and possesses the ability to “think on one’s feet”.

● Maintains organization while multi-tasking.

● Able to communicate with a variety of personalities in a professional manner.

● Experience in an office setting is a plus.
