Ted Clements was the first to respond to the craigslist ad 'seeking a bassist'. It seems a rare occurrence to get so lucky so quickly. A talented bassist, Clements, of prog outfit Aterrima, had more time to invest in music. Being the musically educated fellow in the group, he has proven to be a valuable weapon in a heavily loaded arsenal.
A couple fellows showed up over time to have a go at lead guitar, but ultimately wound up not making the grade or couldn't commit.
The next piece of the puzzle took months to find.
Jaime "Morkenna" Collins of folk metal group, Tulpaa, was a tremendous surprise. She won over her audition with a powerful demonstration of skill and raw talent. Her ability to adopt and perform the often complex arrangements given to her is uncanny. Transitioning from beautiful, clean singing to aggressive, raspy growls, and guttural attacks, she is key in bringing the heavy music across multiple platforms spanning from the hard rock listener to the extreme metal purists.
Finally, the band had a date booked to play on New Year's Eve. Just a few weeks before the show, Charlie Archuleta, the lead guitarist at the time, decided to move away, thus forcing the band to either cancel their first show, or find a very talented fill-in...
...enter Gabe Hodges. (Abassy and Immurge) A 20 year old dynamo, packed with talent and a deep passion for metal. Hodges devoured the opportunity in front of him. He was so impressive that the band implored him to stay on as a full member. Luckily he said yes!
Together, this very unique combination of influences and skill sets bring a sound that is very much their own. It's a recipe built for enthusiastic, mass consumption.
Boise’s Rise of the Fallen began in the spring of 2012 with drummer Scott Mifflin and guitarist Chad Lytle by recruiting longtime friend Jeremy Franklin to handle bass duties. The trio set to work on building a new interpretation of grinding groove metal and soon they reached out to vocalist Kegan Stucki to square off the initial line-up. After two years of terrorizing the local music scene; supporting touring acts and playing metal festivals, Rise of the Fallen moved to increase the intensity and creativity of its music which led them to adding second guitarist Daniel Rodriguez to the mix. In 2014, the band released its first, full 10-track album. Then in the spring of 2016 the band sadly parted ways with founding member Chad Lytle. They have since decided to forge on as a powerful 4 piece. Rise of the Fallen mixes its innumerable influences together to create its own style and sound that delivers in high-octane, energy-fueled, melodic brutality.

For those of you who dont know us or have never seen us play in the Treasure Valley we are a very very very young Boise Metal Band trying to explore the world of music and people. We have been a band for just over a year now following a few Line up changes. We all range from the ages of 15 to 17 and we all have one passion, that is music. You shouldn't be able to classify us as one genre, Some of our music is more groove metal while some of it is more Thrash, Death Metal, and Melodic Metal.
